About Role
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving business growth. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual who can analyze market trends, evaluate potential partnerships, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand the organization's market presence and revenue streams. Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities and market segments aligned with company strategy
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion
- Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing partners, clients, and stakeholders
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities
- Prepare and present business proposals, pitches, and presentations to potential clients and partners
- Negotiate and close commercial contracts and partnership agreements
- Collaborate with internal teams including sales, product, operations, and finance to ensure successful implementation of partnerships
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to business development activities and pipeline management
- Identify and assess risks associated with new opportunities and develop mitigation strategies
- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to provide actionable insights
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 3-6 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or related field
- Proven track record of identifying and closing new business opportunities and generating revenue
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive positioning
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence C-level executives
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Proficiency in CRM tools and business analytics software
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Eligibility
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or related field required. 3-6 years of demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management. Proven track record of successfully closing deals and generating revenue. Strong stakeholder relationship management experience required.
